Coach Bookings for Highclere Castle, Egyptian Exhibition & Gardens

Highclere Castle welcomes coach bookings to the Castle, Gardens and Grounds during the public opening times at Easter, May Bank Holidays and the summer months of July and August.

Opening Times

The Castle, Gardens and Grounds are open from Sunday to Thursday each week. Opening times are from 11:00am to 4:40pm, with last admission at 3:30pm.

Visitor Attractions

Visitor highlights include:

* Tours of the Castle State Rooms, gallery and Bedrooms by experienced, trained professional guides;

* Tours of the Castle Gardens and Grounds;

* Tours of the "Wonderful Things" Egyptian Exhibition which tells the story of the discovery in 1922 of the Tomb of Tutankhamun by the 5th Earl or Carnarvon and Howard Carter;

* Tearooms which serve tea, coffee, light snacks 11:00am to 5:00pm and lunch from 12-2pm;

* Castle Gift Shop;

* Countryside Walks throughout the several thousand acres of the Highclere Estate and much more.
