Summer Public Opening: 2010
Highclere Castle, Grounds, Gardens and Egyptian Exhibition
are
open in 2010 on the following days:
Easter Opening:
Sunday, 28th March to Wednesday, 7th April. Also open on Sunday 11th April.
Open 7 days per week (on dates above) during the Easter Opening.
Spring Bank Holidays Opening: Monday & Tuesday 3rd and 4th May. Monday, 31st May & Tuesday, 1st June.
Summer Opening: OPEN Sunday to Thursday (inclusive) each week from:
SUNDAY, 4th July to THURSDAY, 2nd September.
Closed Fridays and Saturdays.
OPENING TIMES: 11:00am to 4:30pm. Last admission 3:30pm.
The Grounds and Gardens are open when the Castle is open.
The Tea Rooms open from 11:00am to 5:00pm for morning coffee, light lunches, and afternoon teas made in the Castle kitchens. The Castle Gift Shop opens from 12:00 noon to 5:00pm and offers an interesting selection of gifts and souvenirs. Guide dogs excepted, dogs are not permitted in the gardens but are allowed on a lead in the park, on recognised rights of way.
Smoking is not permitted indoors.
